Namur
In Namur, the CPAS is the direct beneficiary of the Housing First Belgium subsidy.
Nevertheless, ultimately, the CPAS decided to allocate the coordination and management of the programme to Namur’s Relais Social Urbain.
The support team was at the heart of all of the Namur network’s considerations and operators were brought in who already had proven expertise in the field: Namur Entraide Sida, asbl Phénix, Ville de Namur, Relais Santé. Each appointed a worker who was in turn selected to form part of the multidisciplinary Housing First team (the formula was similar to that of Charleroi).
The care given is therefore intended to be global and multidisciplinary, intensive and clearly available for users at the time it is needed.
